Carbonsafe was awarded second place in the “Green Innovation” category at the Forbes Innovation Awards 2025 – one of Bulgaria’s most prominent events dedicated to innovation, technological progress, and sustainable business models. This year’s competition brought together companies from various sectors, showcasing strong examples of modern thinking, technological integration, and solutions with real social and economic impact.
In the “Green Innovation” category, where Carbonsafe was among the finalists, a total of five companies competed: BTL Industries, DevriX, Yettel Bulgaria, Agropolichim, and Carbonsafe. First place went to Agropolichim, while Carbonsafe earned second place for its science-based approach to carbon farming and its efforts to raise the standards of reliability within voluntary carbon markets.
The recognition from Forbes comes at a time when sustainable agriculture and climate solutions are gaining increasing importance across Europe and the region. Carbonsafe’s model—grounded in real soil measurements, laboratory verification, and transparent methodology—was highly valued for its ability to combine business innovation, scientific credibility, and tangible benefits for farmers.
This distinction is more than an award; it is a mark of trust in a new type of Bulgarian innovation—one that creates value simultaneously for farmers, the environment, and the future of sustainable development. Carbonsafe will continue to advance this model, expand its partnerships, and work actively toward positioning Bulgaria among the leading examples of modern, climate-responsible agriculture.
