“STOP THE DESTRUCTION”: When Business, Science, and Art Speak with One Voice

On December 5 in Plovdiv, an event took place that brought together people from different fields around a shared mission: to protect nature and rethink the way we talk about a sustainable future. The “Stop the Destruction” initiative united businesses, scientific experts, artists, and public figures to demonstrate that change becomes possible when knowledge and ideas are shared rather than kept apart.

Carbonsafe was among the key participants in the conference program. Chavdar Marinov presented our approach to regenerative and carbon farming, where science, transparency, and hands-on fieldwork form the foundation of every lasting transformation. In an interview recorded by AGRO TV, he emphasized the need to build a culture of shared responsibility — highlighting that protecting soils and water resources is a collective task that begins with awareness and is carried forward through concrete actions.

Throughout the day, participants shared their ideas and projects, while in the evening art continued the conversation in its own language — through music, poetry, visual art, and a fashion performance. The two specially designed outfits, “Water” and “Earth,” became vivid symbols of nature and its message.

In this strong and unifying atmosphere, Carbonsafe was recognized for its contribution to the initiative. We see this recognition not as a formal gesture, but as a confirmation that our efforts to support farmers with science-based practices and promote sustainable models resonate within the broader public dialogue. “Stop the Destruction” demonstrated that when different communities speak in one direction, the impact reaches far beyond a single event.

For Carbonsafe, participation in the initiative is a natural extension of our mission — to work toward healthier soils, a cleaner environment, and a more sustainable future for Bulgarian agriculture. We believe that when business, science, and art unite around a common idea, change is not only possible — it has already begun.
