In May and early June, Carbonsafe™ actively participated in two specialized demonstration events dedicated to sustainable agriculture and innovative approaches to improving soil health. The events took place in Tutrakan (May 20, 2025) and in Radishevo, Pleven Region (June 3, 2025), attracting dozens of farmers from Northern Bulgaria.
Carbon Farming in Focus – Tutrakan, May 20, 2025
Carbonsafe™ presented its certified carbon farming model to farmers from the Silistra region. During the hands-on seminar held at Hotel “Dunav”, the discussions covered:
• Methodologies for measuring organic carbon in the soil;
• Economic benefits from generating carbon credits;
• Practical steps for joining carbon programs in Bulgaria.
Carbonsafe™ emphasized its science-based solution for sustainable agriculture, which provides farmers with additional income while improving soil condition and productivity.
Sustainable Practices on the Agenda – Pleven, June 3, 2025
In the Pleven region, Carbonsafe™ once again highlighted the potential of carbon farming during an open field day and seminar held in Radishevo and “Park Hotel Kailaka”. Key presentation topics included:
• Practical implementation of carbon farming in real farms;
• Generation of ex-post carbon credits with full traceability;
• Funding opportunities through the voluntary carbon market.
