The farm is located in the Northeastern Region of Bulgaria – Trem village, Baykovo village, Timarevo village, Dobri Voynikovo village, and Slivak village, Hitrino Municipality, Shumen Province.
The farm grows alfalfa, sorghum for silage, grain maize, artificial grass, pastureland, and soft wheat.
Transformative carbon sequestration project aimed at enhancing soil health and capturing atmospheric carbon through sustainable agricultural practices. By implementing techniques like cover cropping, crop rotation, and reduced tillage, farmers in the area are working to sequester carbon in the soil, improving biodiversity and resilience to climate change. This project will not only help mitigate emissions but also provide economic benefits to local farmers through the generation of carbon credits.
