The farm is located in the Southwestern Region of Bulgaria – Kameno Pole village, Dolna Beshovitsa village, and Kunino village, Roman Municipality; Tsakonitsa village, Gorna Kremena village, Gorna Beshovitsa village, Varbeshnitsa village, and Kalen village, Mezdra Municipality; Drashan village, Byala Slatina Municipality, Vratsa Province.
The farm grows common wheat, barley, grain maize, alfalfa, and sunflower.
Transformative carbon sequestration project aimed at enhancing soil health and capturing atmospheric carbon through sustainable agricultural practices. By implementing techniques like cover cropping, crop rotation, and reduced tillage, farmers in the area are working to sequester carbon in the soil, improving biodiversity and resilience to climate change. This project will not only help mitigate emissions but also provide economic benefits to local farmers through the generation of carbon credits.
