The farm is located in the Southeastern Region of Bulgaria – Polski Izvor village, Cherni Vrah village, Kameno Municipality, and the city of Burgas, Burgas Province.
The farm grows common wheat, barley, grain maize, sunflower, rapeseed, and winter peas for grain.
Transformative carbon sequestration project aimed at enhancing soil health and capturing atmospheric carbon through sustainable agricultural practices. By implementing techniques like cover cropping, crop rotation, and reduced tillage, farmers in the area are working to sequester carbon in the soil, improving biodiversity and resilience to climate change. This project will not only help mitigate emissions but also provide economic benefits to local farmers through the generation of carbon credits.
