The farm is located in the Northeastern Region of Bulgaria – Smin village, Zahari Stoyanovo village, Vaklino village, Staevtsi village, and Chernomortsi village, Shabla Municipality, Dobrich Province.
The farm grows soft and durum wheat, sunflower, beans, and maize.
Transformative carbon sequestration project aimed at enhancing soil health and capturing atmospheric carbon through sustainable agricultural practices. By implementing techniques like cover cropping, crop rotation, and reduced tillage, farmers in the area are working to sequester carbon in the soil, improving biodiversity and resilience to climate change. This project will not only help mitigate emissions but also provide economic benefits to local farmers through the generation of carbon credits.
