Petya Raycheva is a motivated and well-prepared young specialist in the field of agronomy and plant protection, who joins the Carbonsafe team with hands-on experience in fieldwork and agronomic research. Within the Carbon Farming Program, she contributes to the implementation of sustainable practices by participating in the assessment of farm conditions and the development of tailored agronomic recommendations.
Before joining Carbonsafe, Petya worked as a field expert in crop damage assessment at an international insurance company, where she developed skills in agronomic analysis, communication with farmers, and preparation of detailed reports. She also has experience conducting field trials with crop protection products and applying scientific methodologies for data collection and agricultural analysis.
Petya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and a Master’s degree in Plant Protection and Integrated Pest Management from the Agricultural University of Plovdiv. Her education combines in-depth knowledge of soil microbiology, sustainable agriculture, and plant disease management.
With her analytical skills, solid academic background, and strong commitment to sustainable agricultural practices, Petya contributes to the high quality of agronomic work delivered by the Carbonsafe team.
