On 21 November 2025, the Agricultural University – Plovdiv will host a scientific and practical conference titled “Sustainable Agriculture in the Era of Climate Challenges and Digital Innovations,” organized by the Faculty of Agronomy “St. Dimitar of Thessaloniki,” which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
The event will bring together leading researchers, experts, and representatives from the business sector to discuss key topics related to agricultural adaptation to climate change, digital transformation, and innovation in the agrarian sector.
Carbonsafe will participate in the first session, “Agrarian Science in the Context of Global Challenges,” where Chavdar Marinov, the company’s Executive Director, will present on the topic “Climate-Resilient Business Model: How Farmers Can Benefit from Carbon Neutrality.”
The presentation will highlight Bulgaria’s experience in developing certified carbon farming programs, the role of farmers in the sustainable transition, and the importance of science-based results for building trust in carbon markets.
The forum will take place in Hall II Auditorium at 10:00 AM, featuring additional presentations by experts in climate scenarios, regenerative agriculture, and innovative technologies for the digitalization of the agricultural sector.
